We met the Watkins for breakfast Monday morning at a place next to Huejutla's plaza.
Then we all drove to Mesa Limantitla up in the mountain
where it was green and peaceful
and there was no cell phone coverage.
We then drove back down to Huejutla and wandered through their local market.
This unique sign was for a local laundromat.
People who live far away need to ride in the back of the truck to get home.
We were invited to the Watkins penthouse apartment and
enjoyed their hospitality and beautiful view.
Then it was time to head back to Tampico.
The smoke in the distance is the sugar factory that processes
the sugar cane grown in this area.
