The Monday Market

We walked a few blocks to the Monday local market and just out of curiosity, we wanted to walk the length of the market and we walked at least a quarter of a mile and we could see that it continued into the distance. Also amazingly, we heard Elvis singing “I Did My Way” and I wondered how many people knew what they were hearing.  They sold beautiful fruits and vegetables and meats and trinkets and baby clothes as well as toilet paper and hand soap and much more..  A few weeks ago, Jen invited us to join in her Health Challenge and we accepted the challenge.  This week we are to eat 5 servings of fruits and veggies each day so that would be 50 servings that we needed to buy. We bought what we thought we would need for the week and headed back to the apartment.
