Huejutla Mexico

President and Hermana Jordan invited us to go with them to a District Conference in Huejutla along with Hno. and Hna. Figueroa.  We have been told that Mexico is green and beautiful. We readily agreed to go and were excited to see another part of the country.  It is about a three hour drive from Tampico to Huejutla and we took a few "out the window" shots as we traveled.

Our first stop was at the church so President Jordan could begin interviewing his missionaries.

We met Elder and Sister Watkins at the church and while President Jordan
continued his interviews, the rest of us went to have some lunch at a nice restaurant
with an interesting mural covering one wall.

The streets of Huejutla are narrow and wind around a lot.  We didn't get the idea that someone had planned this city.  It seems like it "just happened."  We stayed at a nice hotel off a back street.

The two photos below are from in front of the hotel.
One photo is looking up the narrow street and the other is looking down.
